LandGipps is pleased to present the latest community and construction update for Botanica.

With each update, we hope to keep our growing community informed and up to date with the progress of the development and give you some insight into the design and construction process.

Stage One Construction Update

We can report that construction of Botanica stage one has remained on schedule, and we expect to meet our previous estimates for completion.

Since our last update, all essential services have been delivered across the stage including underground drainage, sewerage, water mains, electrical cables, gas pipes and NBN infrastructure. The finishing touches of the stage such as road surfacing, kerbing and footpaths and streetlights have also been installed, bringing the streetscape to life. The fencing across the stage has been installed to final specifications, with fencing along neighbouring properties and around Council reserves now in place.

Pedestrian access to Botanica is almost complete, with a new footpath connection to Korumburra installed, except for one small section that cannot be installed until the gas company has finished the installation of gas mains along Bena Road. These works are expected to take place over the coming fortnight.

With the arrival of beautiful Spring weather, we are excited to announce that our very first Botanica family has now moved into the blossoming estate. A large family of ducks and ducklings are our first residents, making their new home in the big pond near the creek. The construction crew has enjoyed the arrival of the fluffy ducklings and watching them grow.

We can’t wait to see more residents begin to put down roots at Botanica, and with blocks now marked out and top soiling complete, we are closer than ever to welcoming our stage one residents.

As construction draws to a close, inspections by council and other service authorities are scheduled to take place over the next fortnight.

Stage Two

With construction on stage one now wrapping up, we look forward to bringing you more information on stage two construction and the release of stage two land later in 2021.
