WORK on the $2.5 million Bass Valley Children’s Centre in Corinella will commence this financial year with all the funding now secured and the tender process set. A State Government grant worth $900,000 was secured by the Bass Coast Shire Council, and the council contributed $1,527,128. The community raised the balance. “This is a great project that we will see through to its completion,” Cr Brad Drew said.
