Progress at The Fairways is moving along swiftly, despite 2020 Covid delays. We are pleased to announce that both Stage 1 Urban and Country Living titles have now been issued, and our first homes are now under construction. Within months, we can expect to welcome our very first Fairways residents into the stunning new estate.
Many of our future residents have now joined our community Facebook page, and we are looking forward to our first social club event next month at the Drouin Golf & Country club. Our community will enjoy afternoon drinks, nibbles and a great opportunity to meet future neighbours with Jo’s Acoustic Live Music coming along to play some Sunday arvo tunes.
Stage 2 Urban living residents will be next in line to join the community, with preparations now underway for the final phase of construction. Our team are busy preparing for asphalt and expect practical completion in the coming weeks.
Works on the McGlone road upgrade are also nearing completion. The significant upgrades have greatly improved drainage, road quality and accessibility to The Fairways. With council approval, we look forward to opening the updated roadway in early June to provide improved access for our new residents.
Stage three Urban Living construction is now well and truly under way, with essential drainage works complete. We can also report that both stage four and five Urban Living construction has also commenced.
Finally, stage two Country Living earth works have progressed significantly since our last update, with stabilising roadwork now under way, we can look forward to a swift progression of earthworks over the coming months.
